Organic & biodynamic wines — lovingly sourced from small French vineyards.
Clos Constantin
Pierre & Samuel
Clos Constantin started with Pierre Halley.
In 2009, after spending time in the United States, Pierre returned home with a dream. He slowly took over his uncle’s vines, which had been supplying grapes to the local cooperative for years.
In 2010, Pierre decided to try something different. He made his first small batch of wine in his garage, naming the project Clos Constantin in honour of his great-grandfather, Constantin.
A few years later, in 2015, Pierre teamed up with Samuel Durand, a former Parisian sommelier.
Together, they built a wooden cellar surrounded by the wild, rugged garrigue.
By 2016, Clos Constantin was no longer just an idea. It was a real winery with a focus on creating something special.
In 2017, they took things to the next level by transitioning to organic farming, ensuring their wines are as pure and natural as the land they come from.
Clos Constantin is more than just wine; it’s a celebration of family, friendship, and passion.
Ready to taste their story?
Every detail at Clos Constantin is carefully planned and executed.
The soil is nurtured with deep respect for its role in the living ecosystem, ensuring it thrives naturally. Grapes are handpicked with care and placed gently into small crates to preserve their quality.
The team believes in doing as little as possible to interfere with nature’s process. They use only minimal amounts of sulphur, taking a thoughtful, almost homeopathic approach to winemaking.
Clos Constantin isn’t just about making wine, it’s about creating something truly authentic and respectful of the land it comes from.
