Le Fief Noir

Dominique & Alexis

Meet Alexis Soulas and Dominique Sirot, the dynamic duo behind Le Fief Noir estate.

Alexis, once dreaming of a career as a vet or in the Republican Guard, found his true calling in wine after studying agronomy and oenology.

His path led him from Bordeaux to Corsica, where he met Dominique. Dominique, whose unexpected dream of life by a vineyard sparked his journey, followed his passion and trained in oenology.

Together, they combine their unique stories and talents to craft wines that reflect their deep connection to the land and their shared love of nature’s rhythms.

Taste Their Story

Le Fief Noir is a 30-hectare estate located in the heart of the Anjou Noir, near Angers.

The name "Noir" refers to the dark schist soil that defines the region.
Committed to organic farming, Le Fief Noir believes that soil is the foundation of great wine.

They carefully choose grape varieties suited to the land and practice manual labor to preserve the grapes’ natural integrity, ensuring the unique taste of Anjou shines through in every bottle.

From working the soil to handpicking the grapes, every step reflects their dedication to quality and tradition.
